Our Mission
CinemaItaliaUK was founded as an LTD in 2014 by Clara Caleo Green with the aim of giving contemporary and classic Italian films a permanent home in the UK. We are now a registered Charity in the UK.
Our mission is to raise awareness of Italian culture by promoting Italian films that go beyond traditional genres, and to ultimately stimulate and encourage cultural integration.
Eleven years on, we have proudly hosted many iconic figures, including actors and directors Michele Riondino, Paola Cortellesi, and Laura Morante, directors Daniele Luchetti, Pif, and Margherita Vicario, and the amazing comedians and directors Michela Giraud and Checco Zalone – to name but a few!
